Intergenerational Poverty Dynamics: Economic Hardship, Household Structures, and the Effects of Social Benefits on Labour Supply

The international project carried out from January 2001 to July 2002  in cooperation with the German institution ZEW (Zentrum fűr Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH). Stanisława Golinowska was a coordinator for CASE team including Katarzyna Piętka and Agnieszka Sowa.

The objective of the project was to examine the inter-generation dimension of the phenomenon of poverty in Poland, particularly the dependence of economic conditions and home economic structure, as well as the influence of social on the labor supply.

The results of the research were presented at a conference, which took place in Warsaw in July 2002. In December 2002, CASE Report No. 54, Poverty Dynamics in Poland. Selected Quantitative Analyses was published.
