Mobility and migration in the age of transformation - methodological challenges (Migration Methodology)


Description

The aim of the project is to create mechanism of generating information about migration and verification of their quality. The project activities include critical review of all existing statistical data about migration from and to Poland (incl. statistics  from destination countries), analysis of the relations between migration and labour market, especially statistical analysis of labour market, adjusting of migration research methodology to the current character of circular migration and preparation of recommendation and guidelines regarding the gathering data about mobility and implementation of proposed solutions. The leading project partner is the Centre for Migration Research, Warsaw University. The other project partner, apart from CASE are: Main Statistical Office (GUS),  Institute for Labour and Social Research (FAFO), Norway, Center for Immigration Research Reykjavik Academy  (CIRRA), Iceland.
