Explaining Growth in CIS Countries

The aim of the project, financed by Global Development Network (GDN), was to research the barriers to economic growth in Moldova and other transition countries. A report, prepared by Artur Radziwill (CASE) and Oleg Petrushin (Center for Strategic Studies) was presented at the GDN conference in Rio de Janeiro in December 2001. The report was also published by GDN in April 2004 as a chapter of the book entitled The Economic Prospects for the CIS: Sources of Long Term Growth. [link]
