Social reform in the country with high role of unobservable incomes: improving social assistance mechanisms in Ukraine


Description

The project aims to support the authorities of Ukraine to improve the efficiency of the social welfare system by creating an effective mechanism for estimating the income of Ukrainian society, including the hidden income. The project will focus on the assessment of hard-to-verify household incomes necessary in the process of benefit targeting Two types of hard-to-verify incomes will be paid special attention, incomes from farming and from house ownership The project will be prepared a report outlining the tools and methods of estimating  income of Ukrainian society  

The Project is co-financed by the Polish aid programme 2009 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
