The project “Financial Participation of Employees in Companies’ Proceeds” has been closed succesfully

Lasting 6 months, the project “Financial Participation of Employees in Companies’ Proceeds” came to an end with the acceptance of the final report by the European Parliament (EP). The consortium was led by Ecorys, and CASE’s experts were in charge of providing the EP’s Committee on Employment and Social Affairs with a research report on the financial participation of employees in companies’ proceeds.
The final report, recently published on the EP website, gives a comparison of the rules and regulations on general taxation, social security contributions and specific tax incentives for Employee Financial Participation (EFP) schemes across the EU and provides an assessment of measures promoting EFP. The study also gives examples of best practices, especially with regards to SMEs, as well as policy recommendations.
