The Impact of EU Accession on Poland's Economy

Poland’s integration into the EU has been a gradual and lengthy process, and has not been completed yet. It is important to note that the developments in the Polish economy in 2004-2006 were infl uenced to a large extent by institutional and regulatory reforms undertaken in the years prior to the accession.
