The project financed by the Open Society Institute was conducted between August 1994 and March 1998. The group of experts was headed by Anders Aslund, Marek Dabrowski, and Georges de Menil. The agenda of the project involved monetary and fiscal policy, macroeconomic forecasting, social policy, trade liberalization, agriculture reform, bank supervision, coal and energy sector.
