CASE successfully kicks-off the ENPI project

The team of experts led by the Team Leader Klaus F. Zimmermann from IZA will conduct a study which aims to provide both the EU Commission and the EaP countries with an expert analysis of the current patterns of labor migration, their relationships with labor market characteristics as well as the potential for increased flows between the EaP countries and the EU.

The study will aim to propose a series of specific and detailed recommendations that could improve (i) the labor migration management of the EU and of its Member States when seeking human capital complementarities with EaP Partner Countries, (ii) the overall EU economic strategy towards EaP countries, as well as (iii) the labor and labor migration policies of EaP countries. The project "ENPI - Costs and Benefits of Labor Mobility between the EU and the Eastern Partnership Partner Countries" started in September 2011 and is to be completed by February 2013.
