Monika Rebala is responsible for developing and implementing a communications strategy, managing external communications, partnerships and networks as well as overseeing publications and events, and developing corporate membership program. She also acts as mBank-CASE Seminars and Publications Coordinator.
Ms. Rebala has 10 years of professional experience as a journalist and has written on a number of important global issues, including development, civil society, democracy, and human rights. She has reported from Tanzania, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Algeria, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey, among others. Along with the British Minority Rights Group, she gave a media training to African NGOs in Cameroon in 2011, and in 2016, she was awarded the prestigious Innovation in Development Reporting Grant, funded by the European Journalism Centre. Her articles and reportages have appeared on El Pais, Deutsche Welle, RFI, Internazionale, Forbes Africa, New African Woman, Bistandsaktuelt, and Gazeta Wyborcza, among others. She was also the Warsaw correspondent for Vox Pop, a television newsmagazine about European politics that airs on the Franco-German channel ARTE.
Ms. Rebala holds an MA in International Relations and an MA in History from the University of Warsaw.
