Contribution to the 2007-08 Report on the SME Sector in Poland

Description:

The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) regularly analyzes and presents the status of small and medium enterprises (SME) in Poland.  CASE was invited to participate in the preparation of the twelfth edition of the Report on the Condition of the
Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Sector, released in June 2009.  (The full text of the report is available at http://www.parp.gov.pl/index/more/9656.  Five years after Poland's accession into the European Union, the report features - besides regular analyses - a collection of essays from experts specializing in entrepreneurship.  The article by Ewa Balcerowicz, chairwoman of the CASE Supervisory Council, presents Polish micro-enterprises in Poland in relation to those within the broader context of the European Union.
